GROUP TOURS

It is a privilege to be able to share both the unique history of Grimsargh Wetlands and our knowledge of the wildlife that can be enjoyed at the nature reserve today.

We run a range of group tours for adults and children, which support mental health and wellbeing, enabling your group to get back to nature and learn something new along the way.

In exchange for a donation towards the upkeep of the wetlands, you can join our nature enthusiasts for exclusive access to areas of the wetlands ordinarily closed to the public.

Discover more about the former United Utilities reservoirs, and how the nature reserve has evolved into the wildlife wonder that it is today.

You will see everything from flocks of lapwings overhead, or solitary herons waiting in the shallows, to wild orchids nestling in the undergrowth, all against the backdrop of the evocative calls of the curlews who frequent the wetlands. Whether you are a local school looking for an educational day out in nature, or a business looking to support employee well-being, we will work with you to create a bespoke event to suit the needs of your group.
