We are holding an open evening for the local community to tell you more about how you can volunteer your time in support of Grimsargh Wetlands.
The event takes place on Wednesday 6th September.
It's a great opportunity to come along and hear about your local nature reserve, and some of the support that we need in order to maintain and preserve this important haven for wildlife.
We will explain how you can get involved, tell you more about the types of volunteer opportunities - which go beyond simply helping onsite to clear vegetation.
There are many ways you can volunteer your expertise at Grimsargh Wetlands, from attending our volunteer days to help maintain the nature reserve, to volunteering your professional experience and expertise for the benefit of the charity.
Volunteering is an incredibly rewarding experience, both mentally and physically, and your support will play an invaluable role in helping us to protect and maintain this oasis of wildlife for future generations to enjoy.
It gives you the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, discover interesting facts about the flora and fauna of our nature reserve, all whilst enjoying some exercise and fresh air.
So why not join us and find out more about how you can get involved and support the conservation of this unique wildlife habitat at one of Lancashire's youngest nature reserves.
